Swedish-owned Nexus Group is an innovative identity management company. At 300 employees some would consider us a smaller company, but we have the privilege to protect workforce and IoT solutions for world class customers. This is something we are super proud of, and our clients have chosen us because of who we are and because of the technology we provide. Now, we are looking for an sales representative focusing on our IoT portfolio.
In this role you will work closely to very skilled colleagues who are experts on their fields, and you will be reporting to our sales leader Thorsten Gahrmann who is Nexus "Mr IoT" and sees sales opportunities before the rest of us had even had the chance to understand the topic. You will join a global team, and this role is preferable at our office in Berlin. For the right candidate we are flexible with other preferences on location within Germany.
What will you be doing at Nexus?
The V2X technology in some of Volkswagen's new cars (very cool stuff!). Your responsibility is to engage new and existing international customers with those solutions, and to build a pipeline and secure business deals.has proven to be one of the most powerful on the market and has gained recognition within the internet of things (IoT) community. We help organizations to strengthen cyber security for all kinds of devices within the automotive, telecom manufacturer industries, among others. For example you find our
Our customer demands IoT PKI on-premise, as a service through Nexus GO IoT or hybrid variants with private Cloud. IoT is a market Nexus invest in, and we engage from PoCs or coordinated project with multiple stake-holders, but at the end of the day what’s count is customer satisfaction and securing revenue for the company.
Who are you?
We believe you are in the beginning of your career, with a few years of experience from a software sales role. You do not need to be an expert in IoT (we are all learning!) as long as you have a genuine interest and ability to learn. However, if you are familiar with PKI as a concept, the chances of us being interested in you are very high. You are located in Germany and interested in a global context and do not mind traveling within the role.
Your main motivator is to find the best solution for the customer and bring back the revenue, and by doing so gaining trust and profit. You are focused on winning deals, and you are prepared to work hard to ensure that you do (it helps being a little bit stubborn some times). You have a strong competitive side to you and don’t like losing. To be successful at Nexus you have an agile mindset, work efficiently, and enjoy rapid changes and the new opportunities that gives.
We work in a global environment and it’s important that you are unhindered in German and English.
